Abstract: The article deals with the mediation procedure. Several definitions are given due to the absence of common terminology, also the features and principles of the procedure are considered. The primary focus is on the applicability of mediation negotiations in relation to conflict resolution within families at a state of a crisis. The article identifies the possible difficulties in family mediation and also problems, contradictions, prerequisites for the creation of a regional network model for school mediation service.

Abstract. The article reflects the results of a survey of student volunteers and their parents on the topic "The influence of family on success in life", conducted in 2021. The issues of intra-family influence on university students as a factor of their success in life are considered, the main factors of success in life, according to students and their parents, the concepts of success in the youth generations Y and Z. The assessment of the importance of intra - family relations and the influence of parents on the choice of life path by university students is also presented .
