Abstract:  The article deals with the determining the functional asymmetry of the brain of university students. The reasons for this situation are determined. The works of the authors in the field of determining the functional asymmetry of the brain are analyzed in the article. The key characteristics of the creation of a new technique, methods for detecting the functional asymmetry of the brain are revealed. For quick and easy identification of an individual profile of lateralization, a system for self-determination of the functional asymmetry of the brain is proposed. As a result of the study, it was possible to create a holistic and multifunctional method for detecting the functional asymmetry of the brain, which stands out from the background of analogues in the speed and format of execution.
