Abstract: This article considers the use of gaming technologies as an effective and universal form of teaching lexical and grammatical skills of a foreign language to elementary school students. The text describes the development of games and their practical application in English lessons, as this makes the process of forming grammatical skills more interesting, disciplined, successful, active and emotionally intense. The emotionality aspect of the game action activates all the psychological processes and functions of the child, which contributes to deeper memorization of the material and increases motivation to learn the language. Participation in games is an excellent method of developing communication skills and confidence in using language in real situations. The conducted research revealed that the use of gaming technologies is an effective tool for teaching a foreign language at school and can be successfully used in English lessons. These technologies contribute to the development of language and communication skills of students, as well as increase their motivation and interest in learning the language. That is, the use of gaming technologies in teaching a foreign language in primary school allows you to create a stimulating and effective educational environment that contributes to the successful formation of language skills and the active involvement of students in the process of learning a language.

Abstract: The article analyzed the cutting edge practices of healthcare provider-patient communication used in different healthcare systems worldwide and their adaptation to the Russian sociocultural context made to develop an academic course aiming to enhance communicative competence of prospective doctors. We drew upon the agenda and approaches described in the publications of overseas researchers and modified them to regard the Russian distinctions to design the structure and content of this course, which involves a study of different stages of a medical encounter and the steps made by clinicians; familiarization with the strategies and techniques for enhancing clinical communication; managing communication failures in encounters fraught with difficulties. The author identified and described a didactic toolkit, which can enable students to become familiar with important theoretical tenets and interiorize them by doing various interactive practice-based assignments. The training of prospective clinicians based on the educational technology described in the article will help to increase their professional competency, thus making their activities more successful and their patients more compliant.

Abstract: The article considers the phenomenon of foreign students’ socialization in higher educational institutions of Russia on the example of the Volgograd State Medical University. The article presents the factors influencing the process of foreign students’ socialization during their studies at universities of the Russian Federation. This article also reports the sources of difficulties in the socialization of foreign students in higher education of Russia. The article deals with the definition of the term "competence". Key components of social competence and the role of professional socialization of foreign students are given in the article. The effectiveness of the organizational processes of socialization in the university can be judged by the degree of development of social competencies by overseas students. It is noted that today the Volgograd State Medical University has developed a program aimed at the adaptation of foreign students, providing psychological and pedagogical support, helping to build a professional perspective. The authors noted the fact that the optimal conditions for the assignment of professional values by students are created when implementing an educational model based on the principles of the intercultural dialogue. In conclusion the authors set the tasks of the further research on the issue of socialization and inculturation of foreign students at medical universities of Russia in conditions of educational migration. The authors note the necessity to study, particularly, the emotional socialization of foreign students.
