Abstract: One of the important components of an integrated approach to providing care for the health of visually impaired children is the presence of a clear system of work in this direction. Currently, issues related to the family are attracting increasing attention from scientists in connection with modern changes in society. This is due to the fact that this social situation is undergoing significant changes in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (PMR).Of particular importance is the problem of changing relationships within the family when children appear in it with certain disorders of physical and mental development. For these children, the family remains the most important center of education, and the DMR government has passed a set of laws giving people with disabilities the same rights as non-disabled people. Changes in legislation concerning people with disabilities give them an important position in the PMR system.Parents raising children with special needs experience serious concerns about the educational process. Of course, children with visual impairments are included in the category of persons with disabilities. This study provides insight into the impact of psycho-educational assistance provided to parents raising children with visual impairments. The results obtained can be used in family psychological counseling and correctional and developmental support for children with visual impairments
