Abstract: Modern education and production are faced with demands related to the need to adapt to the conditions of the economy of sustainable development. In a world where environmental sustainability, social responsibility and innovation are becoming key success factors, the development of competencies within the educational and industrial cluster (EIC) is of particular importance. Effective interaction between its elements is a key mechanism ensuring the development of human resources capable of meeting the requirements of a sustainable economy. More and more organizations and educational institutions are realizing that classical models of training and production are outdated, and successful adaptation to new challenges requires deep interaction and cooperation between educational institutions, enterprises and the state; special attention in the interaction of the two clusters is paid to the use of neurodidactic approaches in the process of preparing in-demand specialists. In this context, the goal of the study is to develop an innovative mechanism that helps improve the educational process, increase production efficiency and develop competencies through the use of a neurodidactic approach in the process of training in-demand specialists. The role of the defense industry in ensuring economic sustainability cannot be underestimated. A reliable mechanism for interaction between their elements is a key element for success in creating competitive professionals and sustainable enterprises. Therefore, research and development of a new mechanism in this area represents an important step towards creating a sustainable economy.
Keywords: adaptation, competencies, competitiveness, neurodidactic approach, educational and industrial cluster (EPC), cooperation, sustainable economy, sustainable development.
