Abstract:the theoretical substantiation of the relevance of the revival of traditional values in modern conditions is proposed; the structure of family values is considered, the factors contributing to giving traditional values priority attention from the state and society, university leaders are named. The importance of monitoring the values of student youth is shown. The results of a survey of Voronezh university students are presented in order to identify their attitude to traditional values.
