 Abstract: The article describes the necessity of usage of different phonetic exercises in German lessons in the 9th form. The subject of the article is phonetic exercises aimed at teaching pronunciation skills to 9th form students in German lessons. The purpose of the work is to create a methodical complex of phonetic exercises for teaching pronunciation skills of the German language in the 9th form. The following methods were used: empirical methods (study of information sources, analysis of obtained information), theoretical methods (analysis, synthesis, analogy, deduction, and classification), practical methods (practical modeling, description). In the process of the work the necessity was confirmed for a teacher, to apply work at students’ pronunciation in combination with other kinds of activity that are aimed at the developing of lexico-grammatical, speech and language skills. The analysis of one of the educational and methodical complexes in German for the 9th form allowed us to establish the importance of creating phonetic exercises. During the analysis of the educational and methodical complex, such results were obtained as lack of number of phonetic exercises for the work at developing of pronunciation skills. These results confirmed the necessity of including extra phonetic exercises aimed at teaching pronunciation skills. A methodical complex of phonetic exercises was created that could be used at German lessons in the 9th form. The following conclusions were made: the German language teacher have to apply different types of phonetic exercises and to include the work at the developing of pronunciation skills competently in each lesson, using not only an educational and methodic complex, but also some additional materials. The created methodic complex will allow the German language teacher to apply phonetic exercises that will not only help students by work at developing of pronunciation skills, but also increase their motivation to work by themselves at this aspect.
